Company Manager Report

May 22, 2025
We have completed plowing of the roads within the Resort Company, the roads are now ready to open.
Keep in mind that in many areas there is still a substantial amount of snow and many driveways are blocked with snow. There is still ice and snow on many roads especially in the shaded areas, so please be prepared for a variety of conditions.
In areas where driveways are still inaccessible, please do not park in the roadways blocking access for other shareholders.
Let's get the summer off to a great start.

Due to unforeseen circumstances with our contractor, the roads were not plowed this week. We do not have a firm date yet, we will post once we have the roads open.
Thank you for your patience.

Plowing of resort roads was completed yesterday (May 22.)
However there is still a layer of ice and quite a bit of mud on the roads, so please give it a few days to thaw and dry.
You will probably find your driveway blocked with snow and ice, so please do not block roadways.
Unless you are calling Alexander Lake Lodge for reservations for food or lodging, please refrain from calling them about the road or lake situation. The lakes are beginning to open up, but they may also need some times to further open.
Thanks, and see you soon!

Started plowing today. Got most of the roads on the Twin side today but as usual there is ice, mud, and slush remaining so the longer we can let the roads dry out the better. There was still 4-5 feet of snow in the sheltered areas. Hope to have the other roads plowed tomorrow. Of course it was cold and snowing today when we started plowing and the high all day was about 30. God does have a sense of humor.

Up on the mountain yesterday to check things out. Beautiful day and the snow is melting. The sunny areas are clearing out pretty well but the shady areas still have 3-4 feet of snow.
We are going to start plowing next week sometime but remember that even after plowing the roads are not really accessible for a few days while the underlying ice layer melts out and many driveways won’t be accessible.
Once everyone starts coming up I ask that in the areas where the roads have no pull out areas please don’t park in the roadways and block your fellow shareholders access.
